Meghan Markle only dedicates 25 words to TV career in 590-word ‘about me’ on new website

Meghan Markle may have made her name in the showbiz industry, but it seems far from what she wants to be remembered for. The former actress was heavily tipped to return to the show that made her famous, but her Suits co-stars seemingly snubbed her after she failed to attend their Super Bowl reunion and reboot in the space of a few days. This came just weeks after several of her co-stars had spoken out about a potential link-up with the Duchess. However, it appears as though Meghan’s focus is elsewhere and with t he recent quiet launch of Sussex.com, the Duchess of Sussex looks to have pinned her focus onto other future projects. In her 590-word “About Me” section on the new website, Meghan only attributed 25 words to her acting career, instead choosing to focus her attention mainly on her projects with her husband, Prince Harry. Describing Meghan as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity,” the write-up features a lot on The Archewell Foundation the pair founded in 2020 to support communities in need. Despite the series only last one season before getting binned, Meghan sells it as a “record-breaking podcast”, proudly saying it debuted at number one in five countries, including the UK and US, before topping the charts in 47 countries. Other topics that received more than the lowly 25-word count given to the biggest part of her CV was her accolade as a NY Times Best Selling author for her kids’ book, The Bench, as well as her being a major advoacte for mental health. She signs off her section by briefly describing her family life in Montecito with Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The launch of the website comes as many started to question what Meghan and Harry would do next. Their lucrative Netflix contract is set to expire next year with it heavily rumoured to not be getting renewed. However, according to the website, the pair are now focusing their attention on “The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, patronages, ventures and organizations which receive the support of the couple, individually and/or together”.
